Thank you for visiting my site.

I'm Marc van Kessel, a photographer born and based in The Netherlands.

I wasn't one of those people who was given a camera at young age and fell in love with photography.
No, my biggest passion is enjoying the beauty of mother earth and experiencing all kind of cultures. I travel as much as I can do to accomplish that and I consider myself lucky to have visited more than 70 countries.
And it was while doing that that I developed an interest in photography. Since then it has become a major aspect of my travels.
 

I would describe my work as vibrant and colorful. It goes without saying that my images are not straight out the camera. Post-processing is an important aspect of creating the images the way I want them to be.

My work has been published in several Dutch magazines and I have won a couple of prizes.
